UltraStar Cheerleading Academy is a fun, encouraging, and empowering programme where every child can grow, feel confident, and be part of something special. Since 2018, we’ve created a warm, family-focused environment built on teamwork, support, and positive development
UltraStar is all about building confidence, supporting children to be themselves, and helping them develop a strong love and understanding of cheerleading. Our sessions blend the foundations of dance and gymnastics, giving every athlete the chance to grow in strength, coordination, teamwork, and self-belief.

Cheerleading is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK.
It brings together a dynamic mix of skills, including:
- Stunting
- Tumbling
- Jumps
- Dance
Athletes work together as a team to build strength, coordination, trust, and performance skills. These elements are combined to create exciting routines for showcases, events, and competitions.
Cheerleading develops confidence, athletic ability, teamwork, and discipline while offering a fun, energetic environment for children of all ages.

Elite Competition Teams
Our Recreational Cheer programme introduces children to cheerleading in a positive, friendly environment. Sessions cover stunting, tumbling, dance, and jumps, helping every child develop strong foundations while having fun.
Classes are grouped by age so children can learn safely and progress confidently.
Our Tumbles programme focuses purely on individual tumbling skills, helping athletes gain strength, body control, and technique.
Using specialist equipment, we break skills down safely and effectively
UltraStar Elite is our competition pathway for athletes looking for challenge, skill development, and performance opportunities.
After three successful seasons, the programme continues to grow and inspire our athletes
Our programme runs Monday–Friday across both training venues. Sessions include:
- Recreational Cheer
- Tumble Classes
- Elite Team Training
Sessions run weekly at two Gloucester venues:
- Finlay Community School (GL4 6TR)
- Hillview Primary School (GL3 3LH)
UltraStar operates on a monthly subscription taken on the 1st of each month via ClassForKids.
Fees are spread across the year and cover 38 weeks of sessions
